Excursion Regulations

The excursions proposed by TO SEE travel & outdoor normally take place in unspoiled or scarcely anthropized natural environments and are intended for the physical recreation of participants, their enjoyment and their cultural and spiritual enrichment, excluding any form of sporting competition or competition of any other kind. Any sporting techniques used during the activities are to be understood exclusively as ideal means of progression and never as ends in themselves.

TO SEE travel & outdoor is therefore committed to organizing the activities in the best possible way for the purposes stated above, and works to prevent as much as possible any form of discomfort or problem connected with the safety of the participants being accompanied.

At any time, before or during the activity, for reasons of prevention and safety (for example due to adverse weather forecasts or the serious tiredness of one of the participants), TO SEE travel & outdoor or the Guide leading the excursion reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to vary the program, cancelling, modifying or postponing the planned activities or those already in progress. For safety reasons and for the peaceful running of the activities, since they may be affected by typical unforeseen events (for example a bicycle puncture or participant tiredness, or unpredictable route changes due to natural fortuitous events, etc.), the scheduled return times must always be considered indicative.

The weather forecast is checked (at any time and with as much notice as possible) by the Guide appointed to accompany the group and accepted by the registered hikers. Therefore, failure to participate for reasons connected with an incorrect interpretation of the weather by those registered for the activities does not exempt them from paying the required fee.

For the sole purpose of preventing discomfort as much as possible and increasing the level of well-being and enjoyment during the excursions, TO SEE travel & outdoor collects some simple information at the time of registration (age, height, weight, declared physical condition), in order to obtain indications on the physical suitability of participants for the proposed activities.

TO SEE travel & outdoor may decide not to admit to the proposed activities, or to exclude during the activities, those who, at the Guide's sole discretion, prove to be physically or psychologically unsuitable, who behave in a way considered unsuitable for safety reasons or because of discomfort caused to other participants, or who arrive for the activities with their own clothing or equipment that is inadequate or in a poor state of maintenance.

During group activities, the logic of "staying together" prevails. Except in exceptional cases, assessed at the Guide's sole discretion, for serious reasons that may compromise the successful running of the excursion for all the purposes stated above, the group will always move together, basing its pace on that of the less capable participants.

In addition to undertaking to adapt their behavior and conduct during the excursion at all times to the Guide's instructions and requests, participants shall observe all possible precautions (such as not using mobile phones or speaking loudly) in order to cause the least possible disturbance to the natural environment crossed and to their adventure companions. They shall also avoid any form of environmental damage, including avoiding collecting any natural item or abandoning waste of any kind. In this regard, we recall and recommend the motto "take only photographs, leave only footprints".

Each participant in the excursions is informed of and consents to the fact that the Guide or other participants may record them in audio or video or photograph them, even incidentally, during the activities, and hereby consents to the use of the image or footage on websites, in magazines, books or promotional material, releasing TO SEE travel & outdoor, the Guide and the other participants from any future claim in this regard.

At the time of registration, the participant in the excursion declares that they have read and accept these regulations, which have been widely publicized. A copy of the regulations can be found on the website www.tosee.it and is in any case always present in the Guide's backpack for any consultation.

My motto is:

AWARENESS - SUSTAINABILITY - COMMON SENSE

WARNING !!!

ZERO RISK does not exist !
Beware of anyone who tells you that they accompany you
in TOTAL SAFETY !!!

Do not confuse safety with insurance!!!

A good insurance policy is essential
(and for us it is also mandatory)
but what really matters is
scrupulous prevention.

Prevention is the basis of
risk and hazard mitigation.

Safety is the working method
of us professionals and requires:

DILIGENCE - SKILL - PRUDENCE

that is, professionalism, which is based on:

KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS - EXPERIENCE

We Mountain Leaders
of Veneto
have drafted and signed
two fundamental documents:

The ETHICAL MOUNTAIN MANIFESTO

and the CHARTER OF VALUES
which I invite you to read.

Click on the titles above and...
